Winter doesn’t need to spell the end of your cycling season! We would like to invite you to an Elite trainer demo evening where we will have a range of smart turbo trainers available to try – completely free! These are fantastic pieces of kit, whether you just want to keep ticking over or want to take your training to the next level this winter. There will be some snacks and refreshments and we will have some bikes set up to use with the trainers so all you need to bring is your cycling gear! If you would prefer to ride your own bike, then we’ll do our best to set you up on a test trainer. Alternatively if you’d like to just come and see what all the hype is about, then pop over and have a chat with us.
Fancy a challenge?
We will also have a Zwift set up so you can have a go at our hill climb challenge or the max power competition using the Elite Training App. We will have a rep from Elite here with some prizes for the winners and ready to answer any questions you might have.
We will also be hosting a Kingud demo in the workshop. Matt from Kingud will be in-store taking you through their range of Bio-Degradable Eco Friendly Bike Care products. He’ll show you how to make best use of their cleaners, polishers and lubes in order to keep you ride running sweet this winter!

Here at Evolution Bikes we’ve seen how E-Bikes are growing in popularity, and seen first hand how fun and inclusive they really are!
The entire Powerfly lineup has been updated again. The e-MTB category is rapidly evolving and Trek is staying at the forefront. We have a great number of these new models in store now and with more due to arrive over the coming weeks. Read below about the new range or head instore to see and experience the bikes for yourself!
New Powerfly models feature batteries integrated into the down tube (except Powerfly 4). There is also now a more intuitive e-MTB mode that’s simpler to use, due to be out on July 10th.
Finally, there is the addition of a Powerfly 4 hardtail that gets to a lower entry price.
What’s the difference between Powerfly FS and Powerfly LT?
Powerfly FS (Full Suspension) features 130mm of front and rear suspension travel, which balances comfortable, efficient climbing with confident handling on descents and corners for the best overall trail bike feel. Powerfly LT (Long Travel) features 150mm travel front and rear for increased capability on more demanding terrain. We also offer a complete line of hardtail Powerflys, including Women’s models, for riders who desire simplicity or who may be riding smoother terrain.
With the battery integrated into the down tube, can it still be removed for charging?
Yes. The battery can be easily removed from the down tube for easy charging. Also, the battery can be locked and secured into the downtube to prevent it from being stolen or inadvertently thrown from the bike.
From the engineers at Zipp, comes the all-new 302 Carbon Clincher. With a 45mm deep Indianapolis-made carbon rim, optimized for low aerodynamic drag and precise handli
ng in all riding conditions, the 302 Carbon Clincher delivers the ride that Zipp wheels arerenowned for at a price that makes Zipp carbon quality and performance more attainable than ever.
302 rims, like all of Zipp’s Carbon Clinchers, are proudly made in Indianapolis. Since Zipp’s inception in 1988 they have chosen to handcraft our carbon rims here for one reason: Precision from complete control of the manufacturing process from start to finish, and like all of their carbon clinchers, the 302 delivers unrivaled reliability. Since the birth of the Zipp Carbon Clincher in 2010, Zipp has never had a brake heat related failure. The 45mm rim depth provides proven aero benefits with high stability, yet the 302 remains nimble to make this a wheel forall terrain and wind conditions.
The 302 also features the same rim bed design as their other carbon clinchers to make tire removal and installation as easy as possible.
To keep the wheels light and easy to service Zipp have used a center locking brake rotor mounting interface on their 76D/176D hubs and also a splined brake rotor mounting interface for quick and easy rotor installation and removal. The 76D/176D hubset also features replaceable axle end caps for thru-axle compatibility. Add in the 302’s XDR driver body compatibility, and you have a wheelset that can meet the needs of virtually everyone. And like all of our carbon clinchers, the 302 uses the same rim bed design that makes tire removal and installation as easy as possible.
